My pal Marc Walkow curated a special screening of the 1977 Japanese surrealistic horror film Hausu last Thursday night at IFC as part of the New York Asian Film Fest. This bizarre film about a house that eats people hasn’t been shown in the theaters in 30 years. Luckily Janus Films picked it up and plans to release it on DVD but you can catch another screening Hausu at IFC on July 2nd. Don’t forget your psychotropics.

This weekend stop by the Renegade Craft Fair in McCarren Park to peruse some finely made crafts. Etsy will have a booth there with totes and tees so check in and say hey. I’m looking forward to seeing several artists that I’ve featured in Etsy videos including Mary Ink, Somethings Hiding In Here, Reiter8 & Forestbound.
